This is a story, for me at least has been in the years of making; TL; Dr at the bottom of the post. About three years ago I met a smart, beautiful lady that I had fallen for immediately. We went to the same school, so it wasn't hard talking to her at all. This may seem unimportant but she was a Mexican, the only person in her family who wasn't was her dad. After about two months of talking, going to movies and all the other stuff a man may do for a lady I asked her out. That was considerably my worst decision ever, to her I was just a tool. When we went shopping it was this, it was that, it was the pretty looking shoe, and the forty dollar meal. I was sort of okay with this, she loved me dearly so I considered our relations set and stone. I tried holding back, but I couldn't. Soon it was rules, I couldn't go out with other girls I knew. I wasn't that bothered by that though, I would just have my friends come over to our apartment. Over the next year It would get worse and worse, she was a cheerleader so I would attend her games and such. One of our friends drove us back, since we both walked there. (It was a few mile walk, and it was cold out) We were sort of cuddling in the car, it was perfect you could say.

guys

Then I woke up and she told me how she didn't have feeling for me, and that she was going to move back with her parents. I cried all day, and felt like dying. About a week later she called me and said she was just having a bad day, and was on her period. I was still sort of shaky though, and was cautious. She moved back in as if nothing happened I just moved on with it, that was another bad decision. Over the next few weeks she would seem distant and all, but maybe she was still sort of shaky too. That's when after another one of her games she just said we weren't meant to be, what the hell? I couldn't handle the stress, and the amount of money I poured into her. It's like she threw on a mask everyday, and just messed with me.

This is the worst part, two months ago she said that it was another one of her emotional dips. I said no, we weren't meant to be and that we will never be a couple again. She cried over the phone, and started to freak out and text everyone I knew with really nasty messages about how bad of a person I was. I sort of ignored that though, but now I'm doing a lot better. I recently was offered a new job at our local welding company, my grades have gone up significantly. Life just seems so much better now, It's like I removed weight from my back. It's such a great feeling to be free of her, it's amazing.

TL; Dr I dated this really toxic money shredder, who toyed with my emotions for the longest time. Now my life is better without her.

Now I love seeing all the story's you guys share, and how much you can do; and how life has turned around. Thanks team!
