Australia is in crisis as 25% of men taking at home paternity tests aren't the father. The home tests are banned in many US States because it was starting to be a problem there too so they just banned them instead of asking "why are women ho's"

Fact is as long as there is the threat of financial loss and ruin, marriage is a shit deal. Period. There is no defending it. The reason people don't address this is because they want to believe it's all about love and/or the church. If you are asking what is the best bet for a decent marriage, you are asking for what is the best bet for not getting screwed over.

Face the facts. Even with women who make their own money, the role of the man is the provider. As in financial support. Ask fathers, their NUMBER ONE priority regarding men is MONEY. And the money isn't for you, it's for HER. This is part of the reason men refuse to address this. They are looking out for their daughters. Sure, some men will tell you that these guys just picked wrong. But men have said that before only to face a brutal divorce later on.

Finally there is no reason to get married. At all. This is why the reaction is to "shut up and do it anyway." People just want people being married and don't care for anything else. Women are not going to give up the backing of the state. Men are not going to position themselves to look out for their best interests.

There is no final option. The best option is to not do it at all. End of discussion.

the great paradox for a man of our time is, those women least likely to fuck up his life are those who demand marriage as a condition of their affections, though the legal institution of marriage has been stripped of all but protection for the woman who fucks up a man's life.

I suppose the great paradox for a woman of our time is that a man who doesn't know this is a weak-willed simp, hardly a partner for her to contend with, more a weakling for her to control, exactly the type of man she would eventually "fall out of love with". I wish you the best of luck in navigating through all of this.

I will only caution you that in almost all instances, the churches themselves are preaching the most awful, unbiblical, gynocentric ideology, and passing it off as religion. Christianity has been supplanted and replaced by a vagina worshipping death cult.

Example: my brother married a nice church girl very religious. He slaves away all day for her and the 4 kids. He has a dog he takes for a walk so he can have a few minutes of peace.

That would reduce the risks, and so would do a prenup. Many here would argue, not without reasons, that married life itself is unfair to men... but, if you are family oriented - and i assure you there is nothing wrong with that - then you should consider marriage anyway. Just remember - reducing the risk is not eliminating it, and even the most apparently pure, virgin wife can become the bitch from hell if she wants to divorce, and doesnt care about her (mormon, for example) family's push for her to keep her vows. Awalt is not just a slogan.

As a man, when marrying in the West there are mainly two factors to consider: the woman and the legal framework.

The Woman. Their qualities vary, but you have to remember AWALT, which essentially means that she has a tendency toward hypergamy and all the associated behaviors that come with it. A lot has been written about hypergamy already, so there's plenty of material about it available to you.
The legal framework. You have to consider that marriage in the West is a legal contract, and that the way the law is written and practiced greatly disadvantages men. Keep in mind that even if you find a great woman, she could change her mind and use the legal system to extract resources from you at the time of divorce and for many years after. If you need more info about the dangers of marriage for men, I suggest you stop by your local family courthouse and see the outcome of most divorce cases.
