All humans require validation to exist, in some form. It is fuel for motivation and well being. There are two objective main types, internal and external, with the slightly more subjective sub branches of positive and negative.

External validation, this is what most mean with validation (or sometimes attention). The recognition from others which triggers an internal feeling. Positive external validation is to be appreciated, adored, admired etc. Negative external validation is to be feared, hated etc. Pretty much everyone feeds from positive external validation. Some from negative (red flags if you spot it in someone). External validation is the need to draw self worth through others. Those who thrive only on external validation withers in solitude. They self-delete if they dont get enough likes on their insta pics, they simp for attention and they manipulate to cause uncertainty and fear in others for a sense of control.

Internal validation on the other hand is validation one gives oneself as fuel for motivation and well being. Positive internal validation is to set and reach goals, reward oneself for achievement and strive for mastery for the sake of mastery, even if unrecognised by others. Negative internal validation is to turn anger and hate inward as fuel for accomplishment.

A MGTOW monk must achieve to rely heavily on positive internal validation. Only this will make him resistant to female validation, toxic friendships and to be content i solitude. To appreciate life and to GHOW, leaving behind the shackles of relationships. A MGTOW monk stands above the validation from others.
