Honestly don't need love. What I do value however is commitment and lojalty. I don't even require love, commitment and loyalty is enough, but it's too much to ask from women so I get it from other sources.

Maybe that is because "deep down" (lol) we think that even if women, children or dogs fuck up, they are ultimately not conscious or self-responsible enough to mean any of it and we assume a kind of "fool's innocence".

Aside from maybe the dog, I don't think that is necessarily a correct assumption though, particularly not in the case of women.

Then again, I'm pretty sure if your dog bit off your favorite finger, you would realize just how conditional that love really was. :P

There is no such thing as unconditional love, that is well known in the cynic crowd. But fewer people realize that there cannot be such thing as conditional love. It just cannot exist. If there are conditions, then the 'lovers' only enjoy the benefits the 'lovee' provides. How can that be considered 'love'?
