Yup. That is literally how stupid they are. No wonder men don't help women anymore. I wonder if she's ok with us defending her on a train tho? You know that lady in the UK that was astonished when white men would not help her in a tricky situation with an Asian man (translation: muslim).

Ever heard of opening a door to be polite?

I hold doors for men, too, because - you know - I don't want to slam a door in someones face. Men will smile and say "Thank you!" Women give me dirty looks when I hold a door (unless it's a woman pushing a stroller or and elderly woman, then they appreciate the kind gesture).

So I've eventually decided fuck that. If women can't appreciate a small kind gesture, if they think they're strong enough to open the door themselves, then they can have a door slammed in their face.

I'll hold the door for men, most very decent. But most younger women I'll just let it close can't be bothered with the shitty attitude. You can see the entitlement coming. Your mileage will vary but mostly fuck it.

I don't hold a door for anyone unless it's going to hit their face. I held it once at an office tower I had a meeting in and people kept flowing in like I was the doorman. I let it close and got angry looks. Like fuck you dude.

You think opening doors is patriarchy??? looool!! The door itself is patriarchy. How you ask?? Coz the door has a doorknob or atleast a handle, which is obviously a phallic structure only as far as the woman is considered. The door chooses whether or not a woman enters or leaves and is clearly raping her as she pushes the door touching it anywhere. Men holding doors open simply aggravates it further because now, the door and the man have assaulted her in unison. Down with doors and down with men!!!
