Two years ago, I broke up with someone I was deeply in love with. I still think about her often, so I guess I still am? Anyways, I'll spare you the details, but suffice it to say that after a 2, almost 3, year relationship, living together and planning a future together, I found out about her history of cheating during our relationship. It was devastating. That's when I found MGTOW.

Yes, part of MGTOW is learning about the ways in which women manipulate us, the ways in which women hurt us, the ways women use us, and the ways women lie to us. But another part of MGTOW is learning to re-invest in yourself and understanding the importance of the intrinsic value you have. Focus on bettering yourself and your situation, and when you can, help your fellow man.

Since that breakup two years ago, I went into full monk mode. Stopped using dating apps, left all social media, and focused on myself. In two years, I was able to get a great paying job in a feild I like, save enough money for a downpayment on a mortgage for a condo (which I will rent out), and started a small business with my best friend (it'll be tough for a few years, but who knows, maybe it'll get big someday). Now I just need to start working out. Thats my biggest challenge right now.

These personal endeavors might pan out, and they might not. The important thing is that I tried. Instead of trying to emotionally power my way through toxic and expensive relationships just to fuck, I took that time and money and invested it in myself. My only regret is doing this too late. I should have done this sooner! I wouldn't have been able to do any of this without MGTOW. So I want to say thank you to this community for everything you've helped me achieve.

Cheers boys!
