A bride once called having a melt down because her friend got engaged as well and was planning to get married in the same year as she was... Apparently it was her special year and not just a day. She threw a huge fit that this girl was only getting married to "steal her thunder"... Yes, because no one else can have a life at the same time as you. Her friends date wasn't even in the same month or season. Hers was in October and her friends was in June.... Brides sometimes don't think rationally.

Yup. "Princess" expected an entire calendar YEAR of everyone validating her, and focused on her as the very "center of the universe" -- all other activity in the world (or at least her family & social "bitch-sphere") was supposed to come to a grinding halt.

Can you imagine what that particular bitch will be like if/when she gets pregnant? Or for the year+ after the child is born?

-- And the thing is... in many ways it really is a couple of MEN who are to blame.

Say what? Yes. Whoever the fucking IDIOT is that is marrying that bitch -- well, doubtless there were/are plenty of other signs of her "bitchy" nature, all of which he ignored -- he's basically "created" that monster by proposing and/or acceding to the wedding. LIKEWISE with her father; who is doubtless bankrolling the whole "princess for a ~~day~~ year" fiasco -- and equally doubtless was A (if not THE) major influence (for decades) in the creation of the "princess-monster-bridezilla" as a child & teen.

One thing I was surprised to learn some years back is that it's not uncommon for some women to fuck the best man (or some other random good-looking dude) on her wedding day just so that she can say she lost her virginity (or gets pregnant by) a good-looking dude instead of the beta mangina provider husband she "had" to marry who may be fat, short, dark, ugly or balding.

Men might think their wives-to-be are honorable and of good nature and "would never do such a thing" but not all women are like that. She may feel she still has to sleep with the mangina (to be entitled to his provision) but it's up to her whose DNA she would rather carry or whose dick she would rather get popped by. An old friend of mine, I believe, claimed to have done this a couple of times. He said the woman's "first time", especially, is very important to them. Analogous to how most men would rather not lose their virginity to a prostitute.
