Basically my ex-wife wants me back. I'm in my late 30s and she's 11 years older. We managed to have kids using donor eggs and they are quite young now still. I divorced due to nagging and less physical attraction and some misunderstandings. My ex is a millionaire and has proposed that I come back and help her raise the kids without working and I can even do some paid for if I must but no affairs and she doesn't want to hear about anything naturally.
My gf is younger than me, but completely broke and I'm nearly so and even though I was supporting her in the early stage of the relationship I needed a little help in the middle (very small just some bucks to cover the electric bill and stuff like that) and she got moody even though I showed her some documents that showed my very small ship was coming in soon. Naturally I paid her back and then some, but it does worry me that a very small financial issue became a wedge between us. But some people have told me it's never really appropriate to borrow from a gf, so maybe no big deal there. She's not my physical ideal, but I still find her quite attractive, and all women nag, but she's definitely less likely to do so than my ex-wife. The gf wants to get married and will probably leave me soon if I don't (she's never said it, but just my impression).
The ex has expressed to me that I need to remarry her soon or otherwise she will move away or possibly even marry someone else. As she is wealthy, I didn't owe any child support, but I also don't have any legal visitation rights, although she has not given me any issues with it until now. She told me if I refused her offer, she wasn't sure whether visitations would continue or not. She said it wouldn't be a punishment, but it would be painful to keep seeing me and she'd want to move on with her life.
My ex is more practical, the gf is more loving. I feel there's a small chance the gf might divorce me if we got married, she is traditional, but still, while the ex is a death till us part type. I know I'm very likely to have big regrets in my senior years if I make the wrong choice here. I remember my Grandfather always saying in the years before his death how he regretted running off with a gf and not staying with my Grandmother, although my thinking at the time was it was probably easy to think that way at the end of his life when his sex drive was gone, but if he had to redo things, he might've done the same thing again.
Can I get some help, please?
