I'm curious to know if anyone has had experience tripping with your SO? I got out of a relationship with someone I'd trip with every so often, maybe half a dozen times in all. Before that I had discovered psychs by myself and explored them for spiritual purposes you could say, and had never seriously wanted to trip with anyone.
I've had beautiful experiences with her, however, I feel like it has done me a disservice because I became totally wrapped up in her frame. I know this can happen without the use of drugs and is common. B it's important to know that certain drugs tend to blur the lines of reality. And to be around another being while you're in that vulnerable state is not wise.
I recently read Rollo's #1 Iron rule about frame being everything. "Always be aware of the subconscious balance of who's frame in which you are operating, but resist giving the impression you are."
At about the end of our relationship I started noting themes I would pick up on that I didn't necessarily agree with anymore. She would say that "this is all an illusion, none of it's real anyways, it's all in our heads, i'm just making this up, we're the same person, all is self"..things you can imagine a heady hippy saying. And now that I've spent significant time away from her I feel like these themes are fading away, like somehow I attached myself to her philosophy and am now fully realizing it.
It' like Inception, but in this case Leonardo DeCaprio's character planted an idea into his wife's subconscious mind that this reality isn't the base reality. I absolutely love this metaphor because it shows how people can plant harmful thoughts into our minds, and it's also a thought i've had as someone who's somewhat of a hindu-buddhist existentialist.
I guess there is no rhyme or reason for this post other than a warning to keep your mind strong, healthy, and protect it. Don't let your mental defences down because you feel like all is groovy and you want to relax. It's a mental warzone out there.
Thanks for reading.
