/r/TheRedPill (aka TRP home of the TeRP'ers) has always been about guys "reshaping themselves to be what women want" (or else faking/pretending it) ... in order to gain (temporary) access to the "precious" (aka pussy of so called "high SMV" women - who are in actuality usually easy-lay bar-sluts with fake boobs, 5 layers of clown-paint, and half dozen STD's).

It's pretty much "How to Become a Narcissist". If that's their coping mechanism, that's on them. Everyone needs a certain level of narcissism to survive. Fake confidence and temporary self esteem boosts are just that. Self compassion is the only way to gain sustainable self esteem and confidence.

They obviously need validation from women and that is a major weakness. Holding frame and bulking up is only to hide their neediness. TRP is for those unable to understand or come to grips with the problems inside of themselves. And it is mostly about being deceitful to please there own sexual desires. They worship the beast unfortunately.

The TRP is a guide, you can pick and choose what suits you best. You can do what you like, but if you have a nerdy hobby, or something that will make you seem unattractive, you don't tell anyone. That's what they say.

From the trp perspective all of the shit in the world can be solved by more 'manly' men. Game is rigged? Who cares, just git gud n00b.

In a lot of circumstances in life, that is a viable strategy. Maybe even in this circumstance... but not for all men... or even most men... or even a lot of men.

TRP stuff expertly identifies the problems, and seeks to solve them with male virtues. MGTOW seeks to solve them with male talents. Small difference, big result.

Guys thank you all for your responses, honestly I feared there would be much more "flammable" material but I must say I'm impressed by the grade of self-consciousness I found here.

Like I said I don't want to criticize directly who embraces TRP, I feel we as a whole "come from that church" in some way... I just wanted to point that I don't think that's through playing by their (womens') rules that we're gonna get even a slight discussion about equality.

I feel that through this behavior TRP could end up exposing itself like some kind of male's only little club, which I think really isn't.

There's much much more at stake here than dating, and I believe we should, peacefully, take a stronger stand for TRUE equality. Or else we're gone (we already are eheh :> ).
