I'm very interested in understanding the TradCon mentality because I think many of us with a present father were raised by such a person.

Are there any articles out there that break down the personality type very well?

Here's my take. First, What motivates them is their addiction to the validation of a woman. Or to be more specific, they desperatley crave confirmation of a certain regard from a woman to them that simply does not exist ("tell me you love me" not "tell me that my genetic composition and reources are the best your bargaining power can win you"). I think much of these tendencies they are not conscious of.

Given that their prime directive is what I just said, they follow it in part by raising men to be beta in disposition and lifestyle ("hey son, get a white collar job to earn money for your woman"), to act as a white knight, etc.

Another feature of the TradCon mentality that I think is really important to understand, especially if it's a tradcon father, is that they probably have a level of persuasive competency (alpha) that their son does not. Most men do not reproduce. So in all likelihood, we're dealing with a father who met the threshold interacting with a son who will never meet that threshold. Pile onto this that the son is facing a much harsher climate. So the father/son interactions will likely condition supplicating, beta behavior in the son. The son's social intuition will be so poor relative to the father that the son can red this sub all day but will still be dominated and conditioned to supplicate.

Random thoughts. TradCon's circumcise their kids. It is perhaps both symbolic and indicative of their orientation for dampen the sexuality of their male children. This orientation, subconscious, is likely born out of their orientation to dampen other men's sexual access to improve their own (yes, their orientation to compete with other men extends to their kids, I suspect), to mate guard, and to serve what Rollo would call the "Feminine Imperative"

Anyway, are there good articles out there on TradCons?
