See, the issue is that people nowadays are trying to avoid being normal because they all want to be exceptional.

Too bad that by definition "exceptional people" are a minority, so they shift to the opposit side of the spectrum, of what is consodered being a loser and victimize themselves to stand out.

Just think of fat acceptance, slut acceptance, "strong and beautiful" single mothers, etc...

All this situation rised from the lack of contents in the entertainment industry, the greatest movies for each genere are already made so they opted to be closer to the people with reality shows.

The moment social networks started to be used by famous people it was the end because everyone felt like they have a shot. Girls started posting sexual pictures, older women started acting like actresses with 20 years of career.
