It really is jarring seeing how many of your fuck buddies who are available any other day of the week disappear valentines week and then a week later hit you up with a " Hey ! Sorry I didn't hit you back last week was busy !" text.

Hah...

This year I had the sweetest valentines day...

To set the scene... Old flame that old blue-pill me chased on and off for a dozen years or so on-and-off had been busy monkey branching between me and some old bald "alpha" jarhead type.... Idgaf... Whatever...

So.. Almost on cue... End of January she moves back to town and in with family... And I get "the texts"... So.. Ya k, fine... We'll "do coffee" and "catch up"

So, this isn't my first rodeo with her, she's ridden the merry-go-round with dude before for... Years? So.. Meh.. I know what's gunna happen... Charlie brown got wise to lucy...

So valentines comes... And were talking and I said something to the effect of "everyone knows you're only here for two weeks - you should go back to him - here's your parting gifts"

Not 2 weeks later... Poof... Gone...

And its gunna stay that way...
