My brother did this and he's paying 50% to support her and kids that aren't his. He's still paying off debt she racked up because of her drug addiction and she still manipulates him into sending money in a crisis. Like now she wants money to buy them Christmas presents, despite living with her supposedly balling heroin dealer boyfriend. My mother thinks I'm the bad guy for not sending him money to send to her. It's fucked.
