That's why the argument "you don't want to die alone" is so dumb. Men and women don't enjoy the same things, have the same priorities, or function on the same intellectual level. Being with someone can be WORSE than being alone.

My marriage was way worse than being alone, now that I am alone I have peace, I don't have to listen to the same fucking conversation every day. I don't have to hear for the billionth time how I don't help enough, she shut right the fuck up about that when I left her, I said "well you should be happy you don't have to worry about me not doing anything anymore, I know I am happy about not hearing about it anymore." Being married when you are miserable in the marriage is worse than taking a beating every day, I would rather take a beating every day than be married again.
