In my experience, they always come back. Some take a few days, some weeks, some half a year and some take years... but every single one of my exes has come back at some point to either:

A) see if we can start again

B) call me an asshole

C) have one last roll in the hay

I used to like pumping and dumping them just one more time but it's not worth the inevitable bullshit that comes along with it.

My advice, when they send you a message just leave that shit on "read"

Never had this problem and I'm doing pretty well now. I think I'm pretty outspoken among my friends how I despise relationships that all the old girls actually know better. Surprising, I know.
