This phrase is a term used by women to get men to do their bidding. Simple as that. Same thing when someone is called “chivalrous.” Both are terms used to shame other men into doing tasks for women by praising simps for helping out women. Other men see the praised heaped on the man and therefore are more inclined to do the same thing in the future.

I was thinking back to when I was a kid, my mother, my aunt sometimes even my sister saying “what a gentleman” when I was either told to do something or just did something to help out someone else. The phrase is never uttered when you help a man but always seems to be when it’s helping a woman.

I figured this out a little bit before MGTOW and stopped doing anything that might put me in the cringey position to get called a gentleman. Today I’m of the mind that women are equal to men and therefore they can do anything and everything a man can do...including lifting and moving heavy objects around WITHOUT my help. I love equality so much!
