This post isn't aimed to be negative towards women, in general it's against liars and posers.

Visited Wine Country a while back. Hit this really nice vineyard and was pretty impressed by it. The guy giving the tour zero'd in on how these two sisters started their entire business from scratch. women's power. All that. I was kind of impressed, because I know a little about how nearly-impossible it is to make it in the wine business without big $$$, connections, and luck. I said wow, these girls really rolled up their sleeves and put in the work.

We get to this little room and there's a picture of the two women with an older dude. "Who's that?" I ask.

"Their father," the guy says, kind of curtly. If not for the curt manner in which he'd said it, I'd have thought nothing of it. "What's this little Groot-looking motherfucker hiding?" my spidey sense asked me.

So, I googled it and researched. Aha. The dad was a famous wine baron who started everything from scratch many decades ago, then the daughters parlayed his connections and wealth into starting their own company. They basically had enough money, enough connection, and enough knowledge passed down from dad to make it on their own. Then to play the feminist theme, they erased dad from the bio.

When I brought this up, everyone in the group got mad at me. "Women can start businesses too, dude," some chick's fiance said.

I was enjoying my wine. I let it go. There's a lot of shit like this in the world. I've seen men do the same. At my old workplace, I've seen dudes who didn't know how to do anything who were handed their job by daddy. Yet they touted themselves as being 'self-made.' But in their situation, they acknowledged some of it coming from dad. That was one thing they never denied. I disliked that these wine women tried to bury dad and make him go away so they could fit the narrative of women building big wine companies from scratch.

These things are dangerous because many women will try to emulate them, and fail, wondering why they couldn't realize the same dream when, in all reality, a woman starting from scratch could never cut it in wine country. Even men starting from scratch barely make it, and most fail.

MGTOW isn't about fighting wahmen. It's just a sober accounting practice-nothing more. As a father, I defend other fathers from the lies leveled against them.

It was good wine tho. Would've bought some, if the story wasn't such a bald faced lie.
