If I were a rich dude I would probably have Icon build me something. They do a frame up restoration on an old vehicle, and completely rebuild it with all modern mechanicals.

As a middle class guy, maybe something retro style like a R/T Dodge Challenger?

Not a road car, but a car I'd take to race tracks on special occasions - the Sauber C11 from 1990. Or if that's too much hassle, maybe an Ultima kit-car with a custom engine in it.

Mazda Furai Concept. It’s been discontinued so you would have to give a hefty fee to bribe Mazda to make you one. I’m minimalistic and would run with a VW golf for years to come but I just can’t help but say the furai is the one!

Personally I'd never drive BMW, in addition the one that you like is really really not my thing. If I can ever find it, in good condition, I'd like to have a Lancia Delta Integrale.

My "dream" car would be a BRZ/86 with a flat six instead of a flat four. I love the way this car feels but I don't like the engine sound too much. A flat six would take care of that.
