im adopting but it has nothing to do with mgtow or anything. I see it as a nice thing since there's over 7b people in this rock and lots of them grow up without both parents. I'm going to try to adopt on my own eventually, if possible

Adopt from the many orphanages in Nepal or tibet. These people are genuine. They still hold onto the basic human compassion that keeps their people together. Men and women.

I'm a minority opinion on this sub but I say go for it if you want to, but make sure you want to bring a kid into your life, Its a lot of challenges with few rewards. That being said I would do anything for my kids (one of which is adopted).

I do not think any guy on here is going to have an issue with you doing something that you want to do. I would guess that an international adoption would be a little easier. Plus, those are the kids that really need it and could benefit exponentially more. I used to live in South Korea and kids in the orphanages are treated with disdain, especially if they are not pure Korean. I was in the army and we were encouraged to volunteer there and interact with them because most Koreans saw them as sub-human. Those kids lives were over as soon as they arrived there. They will never overcome the stigma. Family is extremely important in Korea, so a person with no family will always be an outcast. I never asked, but I am pretty sure I could have easily adopted one. At this point in my life, I do not want kids, but I may change that attitude. If I do, I am definitely adopting internationally. Just being able to give them basic stuff, like an education will make their lives millions of times better than it would otherwise be.

One of my female friends adopted thru the foster care system. She is pretty much a unicorn and does not date. According to her, that was much easier than going thru an agency. The kids do tend to have more problems to work through though.
