It's more about the briffault's law, a woman associate with a man only if she has something to gain.

I even tested this, in my workplace i am friendly with everyone but i never gave anything for free or granted. The result is that women in my workplace stopped saying "good morning" back, meanwhile i became friend with everyone else.

It's all biology, we are beasts and women are more ruled by instincts than men.
