Yesterday was my first day in college and it really reminded me that I need to be careful about who I associate with. Most of the females in my English class looked about my age or slightly older. But when it was time to introduce ourselves, at least 60% of the girls mentioned having children and that caused my jaw to hit the floor.

I would have never guessed that most of the females already have children! That reminded me that people can lie about themselves if it benefits them in one way or another, although I hope people will be honest about themselves.

So for now, I think I'll just keep my head low and continue to observe the people around me more and then find the right type of friends.
