I've been trying the Darkweb, with Ants (if memory serves, it's been years). There's nothing to see there worth mentionning. First, it's slow as hell : Could take one hour to load a single pic. Second, the search pages were filled with CP (yup, that easy), some hacker blogs, some handbooks for whoever wants to blow something up, some pics gallery so slow you just give up loading them... and that's it. Nothing really revolutionnary, or secret worth mentionning. It's just the trashbin in the back alley of the Internet.

What you're looking for is more certainly the Deep Web. Some good tutorials will lead you there. Good luck to you !

First of all, you need to know the difference between "dark web" and "deep web".

There's a lot of stuff on the internet that isn't catalogued and accessible via search engines, for good reason. For example, you wouldn't want your bank account information accessible to everyone via google, but you CAN access it via your online bank account.

The dark web is illegal stuff that is ALSO not going to be found with a basic search engine. There IS a lot of illegal stuff that happens on the DARK web. The dark web has a ".onion" address instead of ".com" or ".gov" or ".edu". You really shouldn't be floating around there unless you are trading drugs or a political dissident. However, just "being" in the dark web is not illegal (in most countries). Trading hard drugs would be. Posting politically revolutionary ideas if you are Chinese in China could be.

So... just be aware.

Edit: Oh, yeah, and avoid the child porn on the dark web. That's illegal, too. Should have mentioned that.

Just use the Brave browser. (Which you should be using anyways).

It has an option to open another window using Tor.

Well you need tor websites to even view. I think there is a search function in the for browser. Many sites are boring anyways and most are FBI or agencies trapping people.
