I think some men are turning themselves into women because of the toxic online dating culture. Half of the women’s profiles outline that they want adventure, and randomness, all which cost money. They love 4x4ing and fishing and camping — again, all things that cost a lot of money. They want a “real man” and some even state that. What they mean really is somebody who has their own vehicle, their own house, a good job and a fluffy bank account, maybe even with a masters degree attached to it.

Then, you go on these online dating sites and all the women complaining about how real men should have this and that and their “shit together”, work mental office jobs in admin or they did for five years and then got promoted to coordinator or management within or not within the government. They work primarily in health, social services, management and admin. All easy, high paying jobs.

But god forbid I derive my income from disability and volunteer on the side. That’s called being a bum and you’re seen as dirt in a woman’s eyes.
