There's a feature on BBC News website today. Entitled 'Covid Changed My Whole Future', it turns out to be a protracted complaint by young women about Universities offering only online learning. Although supposedly a mainstream article, there's not one man in the entire piece, just girl after girl bleating about how the University experience won't feature Freshers' Week, or nightlife, or social aspects, or 'freedom of adulthood'. All is revealed. While most young men take a degree course to get an education, it would appear that young women see it as the opportunity to ride the CC with a succession of eligible future meal-tickets.
