Always loved this movie.

For the uninitiated, Fletcher (Jim Carrey) is a lawyer and in one scene he helps a woman divorce-rape her husband. You actually see it in court.

And when the judge bangs his gavel, Fletcher instantly becomes distraught over what's just happened to the husband.

(Fletcher eventually gets back with the mother of his child and it's a happy ending yadda yadda yadda but I do think Liar Liar 2 should have that kid grown up and MGTOW based on A] his mother dating a complete douche and literally being on a plane to move to another state with said boyfriend before realizing she should be with Fletcher again, and B] all of those delightful stories his dad Fletcher must have from divorce court.)

Anyway, regarding the regretful lawyer aspect of the film...
