You need to plan and execute your vacation time like its a project.

In reality Its very easy... Let me give you a real life examples of my past vacations:

History and adventure related:

I decided to use my regular vacation (2 weeks) to visit friends in my hometown (Poland) but spending 2 weeks there would turn into boring stuff, so I researched and booked online an adventure and went to Lvov then Kiev in Ukraine and visited Pripyat (Chernobyl) .. since then every time coworker returns from a vacation and brags about "this old ghost town they have seen on the way right next to highway 66".. I say .. that's cute.

Nature related:

I established a goal to visit all national parks in states.. I'm around 70% if that goal. Some of them are small and close enough so it can be achieved even as a weekend trip.

Misc stuff:

I wanted to see "Mall of America" - silly.. I know.. since its not even biggest of malls and its kinda boring.. but.. I was in the area.. So I spend 1 day to go there.. just for the sake of "Iv been there, done that"

Remember: The most important thing about your vacation is... its your vacation.. nobody else.. so plan ahead.. make goals and have fun.

My next big goal is:

To literally walk across half of Europe on foot, medieval style.. google Camino de Santiago to know more.

I’ve been to 40 different countries all over South America, Europe and Asia by myself. Don’t give a shit if they think it’s a sex tourist spot, dangerous 3rd world country or couples only getaway.

I’ve been to Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines. Co-workers think I’m a sex tourist.

Been to North Korea, Russia, volcanoes in Nicaragua, and Egypt. Also did shark diving in South Africa. Co-workers think I’m crazy.

Been to the most remote parts of Philippines in El Nino. Was the only single guy in a small plane full of couples on honeymoons. Didn’t faze me much. Also Cayman Islands, Aruba and Japan. Co-workers are very jealous and same posts as above and get lot of female offers to tag along. But I never bite. Too much of a headache and planning.

Vacations are good for your well being and I highly encourage it. Fyi, vacations don’t have to be expensive neither. Credit card churning, manufacturing spending and airbnb is the key words. That 1500 plane ticket just dropped to 200 bucks. R/churning and flyertalk forums are a gold mine.

Told my co-workers about it but they prefer i foot the bill. Lol, not going to happen.

I love vacationing alone. I have a number of buddies that would never think about going somewhere with another person.

One of my MGTOW buddies vacations at Christmas time in a different country every year.

Me I love heading down to Academi in Moyock, NC. for a week of shooting. Academi is formally Blackwater renamed. Otherwise I head down to my place on the beach in Florida for a few weeks a year.

I'm always asked why I never take anyone (woman) with me to Fl.? I want a vacation not a week of freaking DRAMA. Oh I get plenty of offers from women I know volunteering their time to join me. Yea, that isn't happening.

I only travel alone. It's cheaper, you have more fun, less luggage, and you're able to do more.

So far I've been island hopping in about 80% carribbean, I've seen most of the US and Canada, Costa Rica, now I'm looking to venture to Asia.

I spent all my vacations between the age of 15 and 23 with my male friends, climbing in the mountains. Even after I got ensnared in bloody serious relationshits I still spent most of my vacation time in this fashion, until the age of 30, when friendships ossified, and I was the only one left to lead the life of adventure. I still do, in my mid-40s.

Apart from a few exploratory trips shared with others since then, I tend to venture out alone. It's mostly mountaineering still, but not rock climbing anymore, just some light scrambling. I'm more into solo survival these days, especially in winter, and especially in the High Arctic. River fording, camping out in minus forty, glacier crossings, boreal forests, traversing unknown mountain ridges without maps, and basically everything topography related - I've done it. Seriously, this can't be, mustn't be a nanny handholding enterprise; only people on at least my level of skill could apply, and even then I would prefer to be alone, as that gives me the desired 50.000 years BCE kinda feeling.

Apart from adventure, I've done some watersports (the original meaning, ahem), but there I prefer to remain in very close contact with qualified professionals.

Speaking of qualified professionals, I did my share of escort banging city trips, but these days I prefer to entertain myself with a large arsenal of sex toys. I don't know anyone here who wouldn't be adventurous enough to go with me on a whoring expedition to let's say south-east Asia, but I'd love to do it at least once. Toy sessions, well, I cannot picture anyone having the confidence to do it together, male or female. People are just too timid ;)

I also like architecture/ethnography trips, and I always preferred to be alone then, as my pace is unmatched on the former, and I don't like to be distracted.

Same goes for long distance cycling. That is gloriously solitary. Bike-oriented trips are easy to schedule with others, but since I cycle day in day out all year, such trips don't really feel like vacation to me.

The only kind of non-adventure trips on my vacations that I strictly prefer to share with women are culinary samplers. Unfortunately, they always stir shit where there isn't any, and you can't just be friends with a woman. My ex didn't have any hobbies, and hated to travel, so I didn't get to share what I really wanted to share with her (or any of my former gfs, for that matter).

To sum up, most of my vacations, and all the great ones, were mgtow-style.

Since I decided to embrace being MGTOW I figured one of my goals should be to take a vacation every year. To treat myself for not having a wife and kids. Because I wanted an annual vacation I started thinking of timeshares so I did some research.

Basically the timeshare industry has changed from buying X amounts of weeks at a resort to a points based system. You buy points and you can redeem it at the hotel chain for however many number of weeks your points entitle you to for whichever time period of the year you want.

So let's say I bought a timeshare from Disney (Disney Vacation Club). I buy 500 points. So I can use these points to vacation at Disney resorts in USA, Hawaii, Japan, Bali, Europe, basically anywhere they have a resort. But different months cost different points. Let's say February is their non-peak period and July is their peak period. Because July is crowded my vacation will cost me 100 points per day. But February is their non-busy period so it will cost less, only 50 points per day. So I can adjust based on how much timeoff work gives me (1 week or 2 week). And certain places will cost different points too. Let's say a 1 week vacation in California will cost 500 points, but 1 week in Hawaii will cost 300 points. So I could have a longer vacation in Hawaii for over 1+ week (10 days) but I can only get less than 1 week (6 days). So I pick which one I prefer based my vacation period.

Anyway you don't have to use Disney, it's the same process for other hotels like Hilton etc.

I haven't bought it yet. Not sure if I will, I am still considering. What stopped me is that when you buy a timeshare you have to pay annual maintenance fee, and the fee usually increases each year. Rarely does it decrease. So there is some uncertainty there. Also if you decide you can't go on vacation that year you will still be required to pay the annual maintenance fee. That was what stopped me because I am not sure if it would be worth the trouble.

Another thing you can look into is Travel Clubs which give you a card membership but I haven't been able to find any famous travel clubs. /shrug

Vacations are easy; especially without some other person to slow you down, complain about shit you don't care about, or bring tonnes of luggage.

Mates are good to go on road-trips with. I don't care what other people think about two mates going somewhere on holiday.

Barcelona and Amsterdam are both good alone (but I like my sightseeing slightly baked). Mountainbiking trips are okay alone as its a relatively solitary activity (for me anyway). Unless it's a downhill track - then I like to have a friend along to call the EMTs and bag up any stray bodyparts etc... Road trips across Europe with buddies are the best but takes a bit of organising to do properly. Gotta end up somewhere amazing at the other end! I never even considered the people might think we were gay Mwahaha - gonna have to pick up a massive dildo in the Dam and leave it floating in the hot tub before we leave next time...

I just have difficulties with vacations cause of staffing at work. But I typically stay home and play video games. But I try to save vacation days for when a game I want is coming out and I want a day to myself to play it on release.

Vacations for a MGTOW is a ''uniquelly diffuculy thing''? What? I just had my vacations and i spent 3 weeks lying on my couch. Was reading books, having convos on the internet, watched videos on youtube, went out to take some fresh. Actually i lost some weight, because i could afford not having to eat early in the morning, because i was not working, plus i saved stress and money for i did not travel. I picked the last weeks of summer so it will be warm, but not hot.

Personally my vacation is spend building my life or just simply relaxing. I self have little to no need to seek any exotic place (maybe later in life). In essence it's always do whatever the fuck you want to do. And people thinking you're gay because you hang with a friend fuck 'em. People will always assume something about you. if you slouch and have bad posture they say something bad, if you stand up straight and strong, you're to arrogant. if you're too happy they will say something bad about you and if you're sad they will say something bad about you. it doesn't really matter just move on according to YOUR schedule. nobody elses.

I have some observations. Sex tourism is not worth the effort. If I was going to pick from a room full of beautiful friendly white women to have sex with and pay $200 I might consider it. But you couldn't pay me to fuck some Asian cockroach/beetle looking woman in Thailand or Vietnam or wherever. The white women who are escorts in lets say Las Vegas are disgusting strung out druggies who were abused sexually as children. How on Earth could I contribute to someone's self destruction like that ? Sorry I have too much respect for myself and humanity in general. That said, I did try it once haha. It sucked, and the escort asked me out ! Very awkward to tell a prostitute you dont want to hang out with her/fuck her for free lol.

I have a good idea for an expensive vacation. I read Scientific American and they advertise science tours. Like visiting the LHC in CERN Switzerland. I would go in a heartbeat if it wasnt such a long flight. And I have problems with the veins in my legs.

What I actually end up spending most of my vacations doing is playing video games, like Kerbal Space program. Visiting parents who live far away. I went to a resort with a girl who was just a friend for a week, that didnt end well as you can imagine.
