Humanity in general

Without women, men would never have been motivated to create the things that men created. Only the reproductive instinct, drives men to top performance.

"Für Elise" would never have been written if there had been no women, Charlotte Albertine Ernestine von Stein inspired both J.W Goethe and Friedrich Schiller, two of the most important writers of our time.

When talking about an individual, a man does not need a woman when it comes to everyday things like cooking or household. Anyone can do it alone, but there are important things you can do only as a couple, for example cuddling. Many studies prove that cuddling is important in order to be healthy (less stress, better sleep, happiness hormones are released).

Many people (men and women) simply enjoy company ( someone to whom you can tell your day, who asks you how you feel, someone who cares ) and what many couples say, what holds them together is a common past (which, in my opinion, also holds together friendships often)

The later you get to know each other, the less time you have to have a past and memories. These memories are what make a person unique to you and vice versa.

If a thing like a common past, company and cuddleing does not matter to you, then I think you're better off staying single. However, I do not think this applies to most people, real hermits are the exception, not the rule. Most people feel lonely at some point.
