Not sure if this is the appropriate sub to post this in, but I'll give it a shot.

Have you guys ever watched the Netflix show called The Colony?

I don't want to spoil anything, and I have only watched the first few episodes. Anyways, so far, it is great overall. However it does portray women in powerful roles, and the men working beneath them. One of the primary men is shorter balding and seemingly has low confidence. He is always trying to be the best for his position. The women are constantly belittling him and treat him in an incredibly condescending manner.

This is just my opinion, and I think it's more noticeable as this is typically not this obvious when the gender roles are reversed in other shows and movies.

Granted I don't watch a lot of TV and have not seen many movies. Also I don't know the names of the actors but if you do watch the show, the man I am referring to does look familiar.

Overall though the show is very intriguing, not many shows capture my attention. Just wondering if anyone else had seen it or is watching this, and have made the same observations.

Cheers!
