I read unending articles, videos, posts, and forums about hypergamy, why it's natural, and why it's not a "bad" thing and ALL of it misses the forest for the trees. They fail to identify the real issue and are blatantly and completely unaware of it entirely.

The issue isn't the concept of hypergamy, it's how it's executed.

It's normal to want better things, better tasting food, better cars, better looking people, etc. The problem is practicing hypergamy using lies, manipulation, deceit, abuse, cheating, conning, fraud, and flat out evil.

Simple analogy: there is nothing wrong with wanting a good steak and paying for it but there's something very wrong about kidnapping someone's dog and threatening to kill it if you don't get a good steak.

The problem is how many people take hypergamy and run with it with no morals, principles, or integrity whatsoever. The amount of lies and deceit, the divorce rates, the alimony, child support, hoeing around, slut culture, divorce rapes, con to raising another person's child, lies about sex partners, promise of loyalty and commitment, mind games, nitpicking, nagging, and on and on. All of this in the name of hypergamy? This is okay?

No. It is NOT okay. Hypergamy can be good but it's definitely isn't. What we have are either people who are just honestly blind to the real issue or just a bunch of people trying to justify their poor behavior and have low personal value of themselves.
