In the past week of reading and responding on this sub, a jarring thought kept lingering in my head. That thought turned into an unavoidable question. Why doesn't MENS right have an easily recognizable and well defined name/title. Organizationally Mens rights seems very unorganized and scattered. And I highly believe thats why people on the other side don't take mens rights movement and activist seriously. The feminist womens right movement has a overwhelming overbearing presence. You say feminist and people automatically have and understand a basic idea of what that means, and who the person is. And I say basic, because we as Men know that there are many many feminist subgroups. Our causes are serious and deserve the proper respect. But it is hard for mainstream society to take us seriously and want to even hear us if we are collectively unorganized and nounited under one clear, well defined, and easily recognizable banner. Yes there can be as many different sub groups as there are issues, but one general name/banner, mission statement for the movement as hole will go a long way towards ling term mainstream acceptance.
