I would take from her opposition to treating us (men) with respect and compassion that she is not worth the investment in a relationship.

Imagine how life with her will be 10 years down the line after she is financially hooked to you and you dare show her that you are human with feelings.

I joined MR when my uncle committed suicide, and I think my mom sees eye to eye. We're both democrats and traditional feminists.

I think she used to wave off some of my complaints, but as the years went by, and more and more bullshit happened (she currently thinks the #MeToo movement is revolting), she's become a lot more sympathetic.

As a man you should red pill and fuck what your SO or society thinks about it. DO NOT BE A DOORMAT and fuck societal expectations put on you. People EARN respect, they don't have it bestowed upon them. If you act respectful you will be respected... if the people in your life meet your expectations they can get your respect. Until then, make them earn it or ditch them.

Actually what I'm used to, is people close to me agreeing with me about 99.99% of the problems and their sources...but disagreeing about language and labels, so therefore, the solutions must be different.

You've got to trust your gut about whether these people actually actively HATE men (or insert political label here) or if they are truly good people at their core, who just might have some random reason not to take a specific red pill about an issue or two.

As long as you know that those passions come from a place of somewhat compassion, and they don't completely dismiss entire swaths of suffering, don't be bothered by it.

Now, if she is dismissive about EVERYTHING and has NO compassion....run.

But as people here have pointed out, with hindsight, I'm better off without someone who'd behave that way in my life.

My wife is a feminist (by name only) and she is very supportive of me being an MRA. We discuss the two sides of the issue from time to time and she more frequently than not agrees that MRAs are on the right side of the issue. She won't drop the feminist tag (and I don't ask her too) because she says she thinks it's still a valid one even if abused.

My mother and sister find the things I have to say about women distasteful. They wont accept any stats about pay, medical care, taxes or relationships because its 'generalisation'.

Needless to say they are happy to be wrong so who am I to interrupt that happiness?

Someone identifying as a feminist or otherwise not perceiving me as a person with human rights because of my sex, means I will not employ or socialise with them. The idea of being in a relationship with a person like that is the stuff of nightmares.

Women are good at hiding their allegiance to gynocentric ideas. You have to tease it out of them in little tests. Make the occasional disparaging comment about men and see how she reacts. Blame the patriarchy for something and see if she corrects you.
