I’ve now had 3 lawyers not really willing to fight for me the way I need them to and seem to only be giving into my ex’s demands.

My first lawyer was a female who convinced me left right and centre that she knew every single thing there was to know about divorce when I was going through the grieving process of my wife leaving me narcissistically and even though my first lawyer is a personal injury lawyer like I said she convinced me that she knew everything and I guess that was me just being very vulnerable. My second lawyer he was all a lot of talk and told me a lot of stuff over the phone and when I went in to meet with him over in person then he convinced me also that he had over 40 years experience and he also knows everything and he’s seen every single judge in the area and knows every single lawyer blah blah blah anyways so I wound up firing him because he lied about every single thing he told me and I found that out the hard way a few thousand dollars later. After an extensive search I came across this current lawyer that I’ve got and although he charges $525 per hour like I said his arrogance I thought it would work in my favour but now he’s telling me that I should just give my ex all of the money from the sale of our matrimonial home simply because she put the down payment on the house so therefore the house is hers even though I’m the one who increased the equitable value of this house from the renovations I have done and to the renovations I had done on the premarital home so without any of the renovations then both homes that her and I have owned would had been worth substantially less but after the renovations it increases the equitable value quite substantially and every lawyer I have had said that I should be able to recoup a lot of my expenses that I have put into both homes and now my lawyer yesterday told me that I should just give her all the money to the sale of the house which is some $320,000 and she is offering me a $20,000 settlement to move out of the house but she also still wants me to continually pay the mortgage and the taxes half until she decides to sell the house and she moves back in. So basically our house has an equitable value right now of about $320,000 and she wants that entire $320,000 back to her except she only put $230,000 for the down payment and the other money equitable value is based on the renovations I had done but nobody seems to want to give me any kind of credit for that and doesn’t want to give me any credit for the fact that we are married so it shouldn’t be relevant who put on what towards the house because marriage is an equal partnership but my lawyers now have told me that I’m screwed and just to give her what she wants.

So right now I am living in the house and my ex narcissist moved out claiming abuse stupidly even though I never even so much is raise my voice at my wife no less abuse so I don’t know what she has falsely accused me of because no one seems to know. All that I’m saying is that she wants me to move out of the house and to give her everything and every single lawyer seems to agree with her even including my lawyers so right now I’m not sure what to do
