To be fair though, there was an 8 hour difference in time between the postings. 27 comments in only an hour is a much faster rate than 164 comments over 9 hours. If 27 comments kept coming in every hour, the male rape charity story would end up with 243 comments over 9 hours. In fact, if you check out the /r/worldnews page, 9 hours in the male rape charity story has over 2700 comments in 9 hours with over 5000 upvotes, where the guardian story just now has over 1000 upvotes and almost 300 comments.

No joke, consider cross posting this to r/conspiracy. They've been talking about that scandal for months, and would be interested in knowing this latest move to shut down resources for men suffering from sexual abuse.
