I currently have my daughter 50/50 of the time but since we were not married my ex girlfriend has Primary Physical custody. I am currently paying 18% of my income plus 25% of daycare to her even though I have my daughter the majority of the time. Not to mention 18% to my other child out of state so 40% of my income goes to child support. What can I do to improve my chances of a judge granting joint custody in the state of Nevada? Changing custody is the only way I can reduce my child support obligation. I have a restraining order from 5 years back from a previous marriage and had a physical altercation with my ex girlfriends 18 year old son and had to write a statement though no charges where filed or anyone arrested. Can that be brought up in court?
