This episode of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" aired 23 March 2015 and featured author Ayaan Hirsi Ali as his guest.

I record this on PVR so I was able to replay it and transcribe what I heard:

It turns out, when it comes to veterans, congress are just deadbeat dads.

They'll spend a tremendous amount of time and money to get a chance to unload the ammunition.

Once they blow that load and it causes people to take care of...

(mocking man in analogy) "No no no baby, just let yourself out."

The response from the audience after that... it was like a meak chuckle to my ears, but it sounded kind of awkward... and also it did not sound very masculine. I am doubting a single guy in the live audience laughed, and whoever did (whether I'm right or not about it being a woman) sounded kind of awkward about doing it, as if they knew they should not, like it was in bad taste.

This is not the first time Jon said something to offend me. Last year he made a comment about Japan, inferring that Godzilla destroyingy it would be good, just because he didn't like the comics that are legal to publish there. I eventually ragequit that, the same way I did the Colbert Report after that nonsense with Anita Sarkeesian as his guest...

I randomly gave watching it another shot though, and when I heard the show would be ending soon, I figured 'okay, will ride it out'. The guy does tell a lot of funny jokes, I overall enjoy the majority of the stuff they talk about. But all that stuff is darkened when he makes these insensitive comments. It shows what a bad person he is, and it makes me think of how he is shaping minds, or catering to malformed ones, and how hard it is to feel comfortable watching the show after hearing this shit.

Pisses me off how full of himself the guy is. I know he's probably loaded, so I really hope he gets saddled with a few dozen child support orders from the government. As much as I hate the idea of a guy getting violated to educate him to empathize with victims, if he wants to be a femlinist man-mocker then perhaps that "teaching experience" justification should apply. If only it did not cost passing on this guy's genes, I would consider it a service for a woman to steal his sperm and get pregnant with it and file.

Why are assholes so quick to jump on the "deadbeat" caller bandwagon? Jon is clearly sexist since he specifies "dads" too, as if there aren't any "deadbeat" moms. He seems to think it some kind of pejorative to compare congress to someone who does not wish to pay for a being they did not consent to create.

This is a completely wrong analogy because congress is involved with the decision to choose to create soldiers, dads are only choosing to have sex (and sometimes not even that) but they are not making an informed choice to procreate, Jon is a horrible person for mocking them.

I probably should have seen this coming, there have been moments in the last couple weeks that bothered me slightly, just not this much. There's been a lot of subtle feminist pokings, like that one new darkskinned lady correspondant, made some mention about construction workers or something.
