So I was recently in an argument with my brother about men being falsely convicted of rape charges after having sex with an intoxicated girl. My point was that now days a girl can basically just say "I wouldn't have done that if I was sober" and say that she was taken advantage of, he disagreed and said that the laws in the US weren't not strict enough. I'm posting this because I think it would be great if we could all contribute info with sources on certain laws and most importantly specific cases where men that could have been completely innocent had their lives ruined and sent to jail. This way the next time we talk to someone who thinks that the rape laws in this country "favor men" we can prove them with numerous credible sources simply by referencing this post.
