About 3 years ago my friend was working at his own corner shop when a group of women came in and tried to steal from his shop. He went round and confronted them and they tried to flirt with him but he firmly told them to stop and went to call the police when they wouldn't. Then they started to hit and kick him after knocking him onto the floor. He tried to fight back but there was too many of them so he couldn't do much but punched one of them. She then called the police and after they had hit each other to make it look worse on him, the police arrested him and after losing in court, he was sent to prison for a month for assaulting multiple women. When he got out he was in tears and I have spent the last few years trying to help him, and he has only just started to be alright around groups of women. This should not have happened but due to the sexism in our world, it did. Men should be listened to if they are claiming abuse or any number of claims, and not dismissed because they said that it was caused by a woman.
