I am a student at a boarding school where my house advisor can act in paraentus locus (which is a Latin phrase commonly used to mean they are our legal gaurdians while we are in school) and I asked my HA to sign my form authorizing me to drive with my instructor only. (I go to a boarding school so I am taking Driver's Ed here) She said she wouldn't because "I don't know what kind of man this guy is."

I was like "Are you serious? You won't sign this form because you cannot give a guy the benefit of the doubt?" She said no so I had to get my parents to sign the form and then fax it to me. I am pissed because my house advisor believes my driving instructor (who by the way is the most harmless old man in existance) to be a pedophile without even meeting him.

TL;DR I asked for a signature form my house advisor to let me drive alone with my instructor she said no becomes he could be a pedophile. I had to call my parents to fax a form to the office so I can. In conclusion; fuck sterotypes! I want to be able to deal with my old driving instructor in peace
