Don't let the perceptions of others influence your decisions. If you like the look of a beard, let it grow out!

Personally, I shaved off my facial hair since it doesn't suit my face structure.

Well, partially grown facial hair is sometime unesthetic.

You could try to let it grow on holidays to see if you can trim it in something neat.

look at it this way kid, if YOU wnat to have a full beard then do so, if it makes your life easier and less complicated to just groom your facial hair and not shave then do so. Here's a huge Pro Tip. IF you decide to grow your beard or mustache or both then YOU have to take care of it. Wash it, condition it, trim it and above all for the love of all thats holy SHAPE it. Don't puss out like these little 20 something scruffy faced punks are doing now and just letting it grow because it's teh hipster thing to do. Manly facial hair has been a sign of maturity for thousands of years, it's a sign of high testoterone and over all Male viriluty. Look at some of the paintings, pictures and other art work and see all of the combed, neatly trimmed and well groomed styles of facial hair that men have worn for centuries and then experiment on a look YOU like or shave ot all off and start again. It's your face and a well groomed Man stands out above lesser men.

Like, i am having trouble understanding this, man.

So, there are a lot of girls in your class, I get that part. And the question is whether you should grow a beard, I get that part.

What I do not get is why this is a 'please I need advice' level issue. Personally, if i were interested in dating one or more of those many girls, i would ask her (or them) for opinions on the matter. Otherwise suit yourself, grow or do not grow. It's not a permanent decision, you can shave it off or regrow it as many times as you like.
