A while back I read about a policy that assumed the male was guilty in any situations involving domestic violence.

As I recall, it was not a law, but a perspective used to craft sexist laws.

The name of the policy/paradigm/whatever escapes me now, and that makes it very difficult to google. I am sure someone here knows the term, and I'd appreciate help getting it off the tip of my tongue.
