I'm a man who works in childcare and it's rough. I have to be extremely careful with how I handle the kids. There are cameras everywhere, and I must know where all of them are, and if I'm going to touch a kid I have to make sure that I am on camera and that my hands are in full view. This is to protect myself from accusations, and you might think these accusations would come from the parents of the kids, but nope, they will come from my coworkers; or bitter women that hate seeing a MAN be just as good or better than them with kids. To them it's a competition. "Ugh, how dare a MAN be that good with kids!!!! I NEED TO RUIN HIS LIFE!" It sounds absurd but I've dealt with a handful of women like this. A lot of them come from foreign countries where it's the woman's job to raise the kids while the men make the money. They see a man changing diapers and nurturing babies and they freak out. I just addressed a situation where three of my coworkers were telling a 16 year old girl to seduce me to try to get me fired and maybe jailed. It's ridiculous. I am in a pit of vipers, but it's worth it. These kids make me happy.
