So I work at a supermarket where all heavy- lifting, packing and customer service is done by the males whereas the female co- workers only need to do customer service. Although I am aware that physically, us males have an advantage over the females but shouldn't we get paid more for doing more work (in the sense that we do harder labour)?

Although this isn't really a big deal to me personally, it is still unsettling that such a hypocritical view that women are the only ones that face discrimination in the workplace.

This may only be relevant to this industry but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences with this.
