This was taken from the post earlier about the hijab and I thought it was a really good sister's perspective, so I wanted to share it.

"I agreed with Naima about the fact that Muslimahs have been removing their Hijabs yet she disliked what I call the justification route. I think the same thing: Just say you don't want to observe Hijab and save us all the rhetoric. I don't like it when people try to whitewash something bad. "I am trying to find me" or "I feel that I can't get a job in my hijab" or "I'm a liberal thinking Muslimah who believes that orthodox interpretations of Quran should be viewed through a "modern" lens" (I had to unfriend someone on FB who sounded like this) and etc. Just be honest about the hot mess without the sprinkles."
