So I posted on this sub last year repeatedly about dealing with a girl who had a very colorful past. Nonetheless I was scorned on here & other threads about it because I couldn’t bring myself to break up with her. Well I finally did it & it didn’t feel good, we developed a rhythm & bond around our lives which led to some natural attachment.

My question is, how do we deal with relationship fallout? The longest relationship I’ve been in prior also included periods after the breakup where we’d text here & there, hookup, but slowly & surely drift away. In this case it’s trivial matters like removing relationship posts on IG & not being tagged in pictures. I’ve gotten used to hearing from her so it’d feel alien to not speak/text everyday.

How to move on appropriately? We essentially act like we’re still together but assuredly there’s no title now. I’d be butt hurt knowing she’s already testing the waters (which is completely in her right) so would like to avoid this feeling.
