As is often the result of taking a "free speech" approach to subreddit moderation, you're going to get people of certain ideologies who would have otherwise been banned by other subs, and who meet likeminded people also driven here and so there is a circle of validation for some fringe opinions (notice how there is a lot of outright woman hating on this sub too).
