Being a warlock can be a little repetitive, but you do get access to some pretty cool spells for occasional usage. Also spell slots regenerating on short rests and always casting at the maximum spell level is really nice.

Cleric, bard, and rogue. I like skillmonkeys, and I like charismatic characters, so bard and rogue both appeal to me there. I like clerics, because they have the casting versatility and wide variety of spells of a wizard, but there's much less paperwork and stuff to keep track of.

I'm torn. I love playing as Wizards, but I'm also very aware of the potential they have to completely break the game. So when I play one, I always like to avoid the gamebreaking spells and try to find more creative things.

I absolutely love Rogues, though. Sneakiness and backstabbing and trap setting and all sorts of things. I find Rogues have some of the most potential for creatively thinking your way around problems - and easily the most among non-magic classes.

Also my AD&D upbringing makes me rather fond of multiclassing, even though it's generally a pretty dumb idea in 3.0 and after (by multiclassing, I mean taking two classes and levelling them both up evenly. Dips and shifts are another matter entirely).

Fighter or rogue are my favorite.

I did once play an angel/paladin which was a lot of fun.

It has got to be druid. All the way through. If not the shape shifting and animal companion. The ability to call on nature to save you never fails.
