i’ve been told multiple times in my life by friends and family that i overreact a lot to normal things, so i’m not sure anymore if i’m being sensitive or are my feelings valid, that’s why i’m posting here to know what is y’all’s opinion on this.

my boyfriend talks a lot about random women he sees in public and it’s starting to make me feel uncomfortable ..for example: he passed by a group of women and told me casually “i passed by a group of women in front of a grocery store near your workplace and everyone there looked hot” and one time he told me “i hope this doesn’t upset you but sometimes when i see a woman on the street i think to myself how nice it would be to sleep with anyone i want and not be in a committed relationship, but that’s not like a real thought i want to do it’s just what men think about most of the time”.

now i never argued with him about it at all but like..what’s the point of telling me things like that? is he trying to make me insecure? or is he just being genuine and comfortable enough to tell me about all that?

i have no idea.
