I'm posting a question from a friend. She is a member of this subreddit and her boyfriend is a member of RedPillMen, so she asked me to post it for her. I'm not a member. Hopefully, you can help her with whatever she wants to know. Question below.

...

Hi, everyone. I’ve been a long time member of RPW and it has helped me completely change my life for the better. So, thanks everyone for that.

I have finally reached the relationship point I have always wanted to be at in my life and I feel ready to make the next step (considering marriage). But, I have run in to an issue that I want RPW’s opinion on. I would like to hear from both RP men and women, so everyone can chime it. Also, I am well aware of my own faults here. You are welcome to criticize me, but it will be nothing compared to how I have critiqued and changed myself.

A bit of background: My boyfriend M(34) and I F(27) have been together for 2.5 years. We have been exclusive for two years and are both very happy with the relationship. He is marriage-minded and has brought up the idea and specifics of what it would look like if we married. Like, he has ideas about where we will live and the social circles we will be in. We have discussed how many kids we would like and all of that. I am also very integrated in to his family. We regularly go to his parent’s cabin on the coast and spend weeks with them. They both seem to like me a lot and that feeling is mutual.

Here is the problem and my considered solution. My boyfriend let it slip that he has had 18 sexual partners. He is extremely tall and attractive. He went to an Ivy League school and makes almost seven figures in a very high social status career. He is literally the dream catch for most women. If he wanted, his notch count could be 100x what it is at this point, but he has always gone for quality over quantity. And he has dated quality. His exes have been models and actresses and all that.

I am not too bad myself. I can’t go in to details, or you will know who I am, but I (realistically) rate myself as very attractive. But, I have one major “flaw” working against me. I had 43 sexual partners prior to meeting my boyfriend. This was all in my pre-RP days when I was, admittedly, a BP CC. That is over now. And, my current boyfriend makes all of my ex whatevers look like total losers. So, I am not pining for the past or anything. But, I am concerned that my boyfriend will lose interest in me or see me as used goods if he, eventually, finds out the truth. He has previously said he didn’t want to talk about our sexual pasts. The only reason his came up is he has always considered himself a bit of a manwhore and he finally let his number drop. If he thinks he is a manwhore, I can only imagine what he thinks about me. I have brought up the idea of sharing my sexual history in the past, but he has shot it down.

I don’t want to lose him. I want to marry him and stay married. I want to have his children. So, here is my thought. His parents, who have been married for 41 years, have a one sided open relationship. His dad is free to have very casual sex with women when he is on business trips. Their marriage has always been like this and he (my boyfriend) has known about the setup since he was in college. He has defended the relationship to me, saying it is the reason his parents have been married for so long. Also, my boyfriend is a carbon copy of his father. Alpha, wealthy, attractive, go-getters.

I am considering suggesting the same relationship dynamic to my boyfriend. As long as the women were only flings (like ONS) and it happened outside of social groups we associate with (I don’t want to be made a fool of), I don’t feel as though I would be jealous. The idea doesn’t bother me. My hope is that by freeing my boyfriend, I might allow him to “catch up” to my notch count. Then, if it ever came up it would be less of a problem. Also, if it was a problem he would be free to go out and sleep (just sex) with all the models he wants.

Is this reasonable? Am I approaching it from a realistic perspective or am I hamstering? Does anyone have experience with this? I feel the parent’s situation might make this an easier transition. Please share any thoughts. I really want to hold on to this guy. Sorry about the long post.
