This is a guide on how to maximize your experience at electric dance music (EDM) festivals.

First post, so any constructive criticism would be welcome.

Congrats boys, we have made it 2015 where EDM, previously an underground scene reserved for gays and drug addicts, has become mainstream. What does this mean for you? Thanks to the hard work of nerdy DJs spending hours in a dark room finding the perfect sounds to get girls wet, you now get to experience hordes of slutty drugged up girls dressed in stripper-esque outfits looks for anything resembling a semi to grind up against. I will outline a guide on how to maximize your experience at these events:

1. Drugs

MDMA/Ecstasy is essential for these events, so get yours before hand. This is critical so you aren't the tool going around asking everyone "do you know where Molly is?" Not a drug user? Stay the fuck home pussy. All joking aside, you most likely will not enjoy these events without it and feel gross even being there. Alcohol is served but I personally don't think it provides the right mentality for the environment; if you want to drink, stick with night clubs.

Obviously recreational drug use 101 here, I won't provide a full guide about it since there are plenty of sources that do it well. I personally prefer E rather than pure MDMA for these events since they are able to keep you going. Here are some generals do and don'ts for while yours there:

Do

  • Get your stuff before hand, know what you get (pill report), and take it BEFORE you enter the venue
  • Be well rested, healthy, and properly hydrated
  • Be conservative with your dosage. Up to you, but for me I just want enough to break through the threshold and have a good time. Higher ups cause higher downs

Don't

  • Redose - biggest cause of bad hangovers is when someone is impatient and decides to take more ~1 hour after the initial dose since they can't feel it yet. Normally end up getting too much and being asocial defeating the entire point.
  • Take or buy stuff in there (this may not apply to day long / multiday events). Not worth the risk, just be prepared like a man. Heaps of undercovers as well. The biggiest reason I see guys doing this is for girls. They either meet a girl in there that wants to roll harder and convinces a guy to find her some or are taking the risk of bring it in for her because she wanted to show up with her friends rather than him. Don't be a chump and risk your future to 'provide like a man'. It probably will get you bonus points but its just not worth it.

2. The Event/Venue

The event you choose to attend is important. I briefly mentioned that EDM has its roots in gay and drug addict culture, this is still somewhat true if you choose to attend a cheap ~$20 show on a random weekend. The crowd will consist of people deep in the scene and frequent these events. These are the people you want to avoid, they tend to be the dregs of society. Think about it, who is willing to take potent drugs on a random weekend.

The events you want to attend are the more mainstream ones with big names like Diplo, Dillion Francis and Skrillex. These events pull in a much larger crowd of normals like college students or young professionals looking to slut out. They will dress up in amazing outfits with body paint and other fairy shit. If you have the opppurnitity, the huge multi-day events like ULTRA and tomorrowland which pull in international crowds. These events are very expensive but well worth it and probably have the top quality pussy in the entire world attending.

The VIP sections at these places aren't really worth unless you are a millionaire. The girls hanging out there will look amazing but will be the instragram models (pay-4-play hookers) that you won't have a chance with unless you are preforming yourself or loaded. Better of sticking in general admissions with the rest of the plebs. I'v experienced both and prefer general due to wide variety of people you get to interact with. People in VIP tend to very concerned with their appearance to fully enjoy themselves. However, if you don't want to do drugs, it might be the perfect area for you.

Make it a boys only event. If you go with girls, there drug addeled minds will latch onto you as their source of comfort and security when they inventible get nervous being in a huge crowd (and no attractive guy has hit on them yet). Although if you are struggling to fuck a girl you know, good situation for it.

3. Logistics

Don't get there too early, you will sober up before the event ends and miss out on the main attractions. I recommend staying there for ~4 hours max, so if the show starts at 5 but the main guy doesn't play till 9, show up around 7:30. Shouldn't have to mention it but if you intend to get laid at the end of night, how where to do it and how to get there. Never rely on going back to the girls place, although if its available, take it over your place. While I don't suggest driving on drugs, its easily done on MDMA. It doesn't last long anyway so but the time you leave you should have come down anyway. I personally like to get a hotel room for the night if the venue is very far away to minimize driving and maximize appeal. If you think its costly, note that you should not be attending these events often (excess drug use) and its worth maximizing the experience.

4. Appearance

There doesn't matter too much but i'll write some stuff I'v noticed. While everyone has there own style, it is important to stand out in a good way. Wear shoes that you don't mind getting ruined, because they will. I tend to dress pretty casual with a bright colored tank to grab attention (gotta have a good body to rock a tank) and jeans (safer pockets and pants always look better on men). The majority of men will be dressed in mainstream college brands like Obey shirts and brixton caps (shit you see in every mall and college campus). This is the fastest way to be mediocre and blend into the crowd. However, if you can do this very well and still stand out you will get bonus points with the college girls. Its mostly the frat stars that pull the super mainstream look off and you probably can't compete so better off doing your own style. Also leave the 'rave' costumes for the girls, they might like taking pictures with you but they probably won't be too attracted to you. If you have cool tattoos, obviously show them off. Avoid the candy shit and other rave stuff but its cool to have 1 or 2 glow sticks around your wrist

5. Pulling

So you've made to a massively packed mainstream event, dressed for attention, with cutely running around everyone and the drugs are just kicking in. What now you ask? If you really have to ask, may god may mercy on you autistic soul but I'll try give you a run down anyway.

The most important thing is to actually have fun! Crazy, I know, but if you have trouble with that, the drugs should handle that for you anyway assuming you didn't take too much. Being high energy is also essential, that why I prefer pressed pills rather than pure MDMA. One of the biggest reasons I see guys redosing is once they get in there, they see all the hotties running around but still don't have the balls to approach and think its cause there not feeling it yet. Avoid this crap, and just try relax into the environment, you will eventually stop caring. Once your ready, make your way into the crowd and make some space for yourself. Heres where it can differ, if you are a good dancer, just do your thing and girls will flock around you. This gives you the benefit of knowing for sure the girls are into and you just have to pick which one. If you're not a good dancer, it is still essential to try. Copy some basic movements you see some cool guys doing but don't just stand there like a chod. Find a girl you like and get on kino right away, remember everyone here is rolling and touch feels amazing to them. The redemption of not being a good dancer to draw girls is being appropriately aggressive which most guys don't have the balls to do.

Once you've found a girl you want for the night, its time to start grinding. I find this pretty boring really and prevents real dancing but it is essential to do for at least a little while. The main purpose of this is so the girl can feel your raw attraction via your erection (or hopefully a semi, if not, lay off the porn). Also another reason to be conservative with the drug dose, since stimulants are known to potentially cause ED. This is normally the point were it is certain you'll be able to take her home or not. If not, move on to another girl. I'v seen a lot of dudes get stuck here by not escalating further or trying and getting denied. Rather than moving on , they just end up grinding with them all night and she just goes home with her friends.

6. Bonus Points

Be on the lookout for occult / luciferian symbolism. These events are riddled with them, the most common being the bohemian owl, baphomet statues, and all seeing eyes.
